For our introduction
We wanted to
explore many
different materials
and offer
a diverse sustainable lighting range.
We started
with
Bamboo, linen, rattan, abaca, volcanic rock, recycled tires,
recycled paper, agriwaste
& cork.
7 years
later
We are now
more than ever
focusing on
plant-based materials
and this resonates in our newest collection.
WakaWaka fights against energy poverty
by providing safe, sustainable solar energy for all.
Access to light and power also means access to education, communication and income generating opportunities.
The world’s greatest natural energy resource is the sun.
It is free, abundant, sustainable and available everywhere.
Here is how it works:
Raise funds to provide WakaWaka Solar Products to
families in humanitarian aid situations
like the Philippines and Haiti.
Offer WakaWaka's to developing, rural areas at a subsidized price or in exchange for community work in countries such as Kenya and Indonesia.

about the mojoz
the Mojoz
in the early days,
had two goals in mind:
-
Bring the first 'sustainable only' lighting range to consumers
-
While doing something good at the same time for people & planet
All because we wanted to bring
a more sustainable & circular alternative to you!
The materials we use are all plant-based
& handmade by local communities
By design achieve easier
reusability and refurbishment of our natural lamp shades.
For every lamp you buy,
we will donate to the WakaWaka Foundation
to help communities living off-grid by providing clean solar power.
Since 2019, we also plant a tree for every lamp you buy!
Supporting 2 good causes.
GOOD&MOJO was founded with at its core
"Love for people & planet".
Dear to our mantra,
We want to give back to them/to the people & planet.
As a sustainable lighting brand,
our mission is to offer
the first full plant-based lighting range
all the while doing some good!
We bring light inside our customers' homes
and it only made sense that our core concept would be
"Buy Light, Give Light".
We have teamed up with
the WakaWaka Foundation for clean energy &
Eden Reforestation for empowering communities by planting trees.
What you can
expect from us..
Lease business model
We are currently investigating how to offer
a leasing program for our lights.
Both for consumers
& also businesses!
Transparency
We aim to improve on the information we share, how it's collected & also through our 'do good' partners.
In the coming years,
we dream of publishing
a sustainability report.
Reach our
'do good' targets
By 2030,
We want to...
+ Donate 15.000
WakaWaka solar lamps
+ Plant 500.000 trees with Eden Reforestation Projects
FROM 2021,
WE GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY
TO TAKE PART IN OUR GOOD CAUSE
BY PURCHASING
AN EXTRA TREE PER LAMP
FOR ONLY €0,15.
THIS WAY,
WE CAN OFFSET MORE
THAN ALL OF THE
COMBINED CO2 EMISSIONS
LINKED TO TRANSPORTATION.
